The Black Sea.
Fabled to be the Sea of Time described in Turkish mythology. Created by Ak Ana, the White Mother, Goddess of creation, the sea and time, with the help of her father, Kaira Khan, The Black King. After the creation of the world and it's inhabitants, Kaira Khan desired a new order. He wanted the world for the Gods, humans in their service. The Gods did not allow this, and Kaira Khan was banished to the Underworld, where he became it's God. Rebelling once more, he was slain by his daughter but as he died, Kaira Khan promised that the Black King's spirit would return in the form of another.
After Kaira Khan's death, Ak Ana met South, the Witch of Centuries. It wasn't long before their son, Cahil, was born- the Black King's prophecy was far in the back of Ak Ana's head. Alas, it had come true, and her worst nightmare had begun. The Black King had taken Cahil, and could not be in the presence of anything as pure as his loving mother. Ak Ana was forced to leave him, but she would ensure to the best of her ability that he would be safe.
The White Mother gave Cahil to the Black Sea, along with a water sprite she had created to be his companion- Arkadas. The Black King's spirit took hold of the Sea of Time, turning it's rocks white, it's waters black and hiding it's beauty beneath the waves. There, the young boy grew, swimming among the depths of the Black Sea with moon jellyfish, gliding along the waters, hunting along the reefs and coves, all the while believing the Black Sea herself was his mother. From afar, Ak Ana and South watched their son, forbidden to go to the Black Sea for the Black King's spirit threatened to destroy their son if they did.
Over the next nineteen years, Cahil explored his home. With the immense power that the Sea held, as well as Cahil's godly blood, along different coasts of the Sea, he would appear in different eras of our time. Along the two coasts of Turkey, he could find the ancient days of the Bible, prior to the birth of Christ. Along the shores of Russia and Ukraine, Cahil finds himself in our day. Along Georgia, he finds himself in the 1800s, along Bulgaria and Romania, Cahil is in the marvelous, magically inclined world of the 300 CE.
However, Cahil's name is fitting for him; naive. The boy never thinks of these different eras as that, he believes they are different people of different cultures. It is astounding to the curious demigod, he can spend hours people watching hidden by the coast. Yet sometimes, Cahil finds one he particularly likes, one he can't help but get closer to. Sometimes it's just a friend, most of the time, he cannot help but entangle his warm, giving soul with them. And maybe it is the same for the chosen Dry Walker, as Cahil calls them, but often Cahil never see's them again. Maybe it's the shift between time that the lost Prince causes,
maybe it's him.

On his left forearm, there is a blackout half sleeve spiraling around his skin. The piece is ombre, fading from dark to light and very clean cut, with slightly stippled shading. The sleeve comes to a swirling pattern by his inner elbow.
Dominating his shoulders and shoulder blades, a Lee Stewart style piece is painted like brush strokes. Completely black like Cahil's other ink work, they swirl around on the broadest part of his shoulders and back.

Cahil was created inside of the Black Sea, and never has left the waters edge. Little does he know, the Black Sea is the Sea of Time, referenced in Turkish mythology. Due to Cahil being it's guardian, when he swims through the dark water, he appears in different eras without knowing it. One day it'll be modern times, then BCE, then the 90s, then the 1500s. He makes friends along the way but often never sees them again.
Cahil takes residence in two places in the Black Sea. One is a Neo-Gothic castle on the shore of Ukraine that borders the Black Sea. It is beautiful and breathtaking, carved in stark stone with defined, dark, clean cut edges. Inside, is his more human like home. He has brought things there from the many eras he has visited around the shore of the Sea. However, he also resides in underground tunnels wrapping around a coastline of the Black Sea, stretching from Romania to Turkey. An ancient civilization built the tunnels but now they are a part time home of Cahil.

Arkadas is easily labeled an oddity. An amphibious creature, with the body and physique of a man, yet with spectrums of green's and blues adorning his smooth scales. He has large black eyes and is equipped with fins along his back, face, legs and arms in aid for swimming. He is a friendly creature, very responsive in communication, with adapt senses and a keen mind. He has about the level of intelligence as a well trained primate. Arkadas was created by Ak Ana, Cahil's mother, and was given to the Black Sea along with him. They grew up together within the Sea, facing trials and delving into adventure. In a way, the demigod and the sea sprite take care of each other.
